Fall 2012 UC Admissions info is out: More applicants to UC, More competitive now

  • The University of California Office of the President just released the data on the Fall 2012 freshman applicants. Of note, UCs accepted more out-of-state applicants this year with the same amount of spots offered last year.

  • The admittance rate for Stanford this Fall 2012 is 6.6% with 36,631 vying for 2,427 freshmen spots. Waitlist spots were offered to 789 students.  More info on Stanford admissions: http://admission.stanford.edu/site/news/index.html
